Modifying the Motion Study Solver Rate

Modify the cycle rate for the motion study solver.

1. Click Motion Study Properties (MotionManager toolbar).
2. Under Motion Analysis, for Cycle settings, select Cycle rate and enter 1 cps.
3. Click .
4. Click Calculate (MotionManager toolbar).
   The motion is identical to the segment-based motion based on displacement in time.
5. Change motion study duration from 1 sec to 2 sec:
   1. In the MotionManager, right-click the key point at 1 sec for the top-level assembly and click Edit Key Point Time .
   2. Enter 2.00 s and click .
6. Click Motion Study Properties (MotionManager toolbar) and, following steps 2 and 3, and enter 0.5 cps for the cycle rate.
7. Click Calculate (MotionManager toolbar).
   The motion cycle takes 2 seconds to complete and the solver rate is compatible with the cycle time.
