Setting Up and Running the Motion Study

Specify the run time for the motion study and calculate the motion.

Right-click the key point located at 5 sec for the top-level assembly in the MotionManager tree, my_motion_path_tutorial, and click Edit Key Point Time .
If you do not see the key points:
- Click Expand MotionManager located at the right end of the MotionManager toolbar.
- From the lower right corner of the MotionManager, click Zoom to Fit to rescale the timeline. You might have to scroll along the MotionManager tree to view the top-level assembly.
Enter 1.00 s and click .
Click Zoom to Fit to rescale the timeline.
Click Calculate (MotionManager toolbar).
The path mates and path mate motor constrain the motion of the guide to the path. The uniform motion results from the constant speed of the motor.
