Splitting Faces to Create Common Edges

You create split lines at the common edges between the handle and scoop bodies. The software creates compatible mesh at the common edges of the two bodies and applies by default a bonded contact between an edge and a face that are touching.

1. Click Insert > Curve > Split Line .
2. Under Type of Split, select Intersection.
3. Select the surface body of the handle for Splitting Bodies/Faces/Planes .
   
4. Select the surface body of the scoop for Faces/Bodies to Split .
   
5. Under Surface Split Options, select Natural.
6. Click .
