Trimming Intersecting Surfaces Click Trim Surface (Surfaces toolbar). Select the split line (created in the previous topic) for Trimming Surface, Plane or Sketch . Select the surface of the handle for Pieces to Keep . Under Surface Split Options, select Natural. Click . The handle and scoop bodies are now joined at their common edges. In the next topic you create a static study and check the compatibility of the mesh at the common edges of the two bodies.
