Activating the Assembly Visualization Tool To activate the Assembly Visualization tool: Download and extract the sample files for this tutorial: Click here to download assemblyvisualize.zip to your Downloads folder.- For more information on downloading and managing sample files, see Sample Files. Browse to the Downloads folder and extract assemblyvisualize.zip to a convenient location. For example, to organize your tutorial sample files, create a folder in your Documents folder named tutorial_files. Then extract into that folder to create a subfolder named assemblyvisualize that contains a SOLIDWORKS assembly file named food_processor.SLDASM. Open food_processor.SLDASM. Click Assembly Visualization (Tools toolbar or Evaluate tab on the CommandManager) or click Tools > Evaluate > Assembly Visualization. The Assembly Visualization tab in the Manager Pane contains a list of all components in the assembly, sorted initially by file name.
