Building the Design Requirements First, set the requirements to evaluate the document. Click Tools > Design Checker > Build Checks. Close the welcome page if it appears and reduce the size of the SOLIDWORKS Design Checker window. Click File > New , then, on the Document Checks tab: Click Dimensioning Standard . Select ISO. The document to be evaluated will be checked to ensure that the Overall drafting standard in Tools > Options > Document Properties > Drafting Standard is set to ISO. Click Units Setting . Under Unit system, select MMGS (millimeter, gram, second). The document to be evaluated will be checked to ensure that the units in Tools > Options > Document Properties > Units is set to MMGS (millimeter, gram, second). The document is only evaluated to determine the units used in Tools > Options > Document Properties > Units .
