Creating a Detail View

Create a detail view to show a portion of the exploded view at an enlarged scale.

1. Click Detail View (Drawing tab).
2. Sketch a circle over the base plate and fasteners approximately as shown.
   
3. In the PropertyManager, under Scale, select Use custom scale, then select User Defined and set the scale to 1:3.
4. Click to place the detail view as shown.
   
5. Click .
   The detail view makes it easier to see the fasteners.
