Creating Punch IDs

Next, you add a punch ID to the formed hole to facilitate identification in punch tables.

1. In the Design Library , expand forming tools > embosses.
2. Right-click extruded hole and click Open .
3. Click File Properties (Standard toolbar) or click File > Properties.
4. In the dialog box, on the Configuration Specific tab:
   1. In Property Name, select PunchID.
   2. In Type, select Text.
   3. For Value / Text Expression, type P1.
   4. Click OK.
5. Click File > Save to This PC to save extruded_hole.sldftp.
