Completing Smart Component Definition

  1. In the PropertyManager, under Features, click in Features to make smart .
    The selected entities are hidden in the graphics area to facilitate choosing the features that you want to associate with the bearing. You can change the visibility by clicking Show Components/Hide Components.
  2. In the graphics area, select the top boss extrude.
  3. In the PropertyManager, under Auto Size, select Diameter.
    Selecting Diameter enables an auto-sizing capability for cylindrical smart components that include multiple configurations. You specify the allowable range of diameters for each configuration. You can specify the same values for minimum and maximum diameters. When you insert the Smart Component into an assembly, the Smart Component resizes automatically, based on the diameter of the component that you drop it on.
  4. In the graphics area, select the inside cylindrical face in the pillow block for Concentric mate reference .
