Adding Custom Properties

You can add custom properties, such as part number and description, to cut list items. You can display the custom properties in the cut list that you add to the drawing.

1. In the FeatureManager design tree, right-click Cut-List-Item3(8), which contains the sub-weldment folder, and select Properties.
2. In the dialog box:
   1. In Property Name, select PARTNUMBER.
   2. Type SUB5551 for Value / Text Expression, then press Enter.
      SUB5551 appears for Evaluated Value.
3. Add another custom property:
   1. In Property Name, select DESCRIPTION.
   2. Type Back Frame for Value / Text Expression, then press Enter.
4. Click Cut-List-Item2, which contains the gussets.
   Verify that you select the correct Cut-List-Item by checking it in the FeatureManager design tree.
5. Add the following custom properties:

   Property Name	Value / Text Expression
   PARTNUMBER	G9876
   DESCRIPTION	Gusset
