Creating Construction Lines at an Angle Relative from a Specified Direction
Use the AM_ConstHw command to create a construction line through a point, by specifying an angle relative to a direction specified by points or by a relative angle.
You can switch between a ray and an xline using the AM_ConstSWI command.
To create a construction line at an angle from a specified direction:
- Do one of the following:
- On the ribbon, click Home > Construction Lines > Construction Lines > Relative Angle from Line.
- Type AM_ConstHw.
- In the graphics area, do the following:
- Specify a point the construction line passes through.
- Specify the direction of the auxiliary line. The construction line will be created at an angle, relative to this direction.
- Define a relative angle to place the construction line:
