Creating a Construction Line Perpendicular to a Specified Direction

Use the AM_ConstLot2 command to create a construction line perpendicular to a direction specified by two points or by an angle.

You can switch between a ray and an xline using the AM_ConstSWI command.

To create a construction line perpendicular to a specified direction:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • On the ribbon, click Home > Construction Lines > Construction Lines > Perpendicular to 2 Points.
    • Type AM_ConstLot2.
  2. In the graphics area, specify a point the construction line passes through.
  3. To define the perpendicular direction:
    • Specify a second point.

      - or -

    • Specify the Angles option and type a value.

      To draw multiple construction lines, specify a set of angles separated by |.

Access

Ribbon: Home > Construction Lines > Construction Lines > Perpendicular to 2 Points

Command: Am_ConstLot2
