Using Predefined Hatches

You can quickly apply predefined hatches on the geometry in the graphics area.

The dimension lines above or below and to the left or to the right of the rectangle use the current DimensionStyle.

To use predefined hatches:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • On the ribbon, click Draw > Hatch > various options.
    • On the menu, click Draw > Hatch > various options.
    • Type AM_PHatch.
  2. Specify the predefined hatch pattern to use:
    •    Single hatching with an angle of 45 degrees and a spacing of 2.5 millimeter respectively 0.1 inches
    •    Single hatching with an angle of 45 degrees and a spacing of 5 millimeter respectively 0.22 inches
    •    Single hatching with an angle of 45 degrees and a spacing of 13 millimeter respectively 0.5 inches
    •    Single hatching with an angle of 135 degrees and a spacing of 2.7 millimeter respectively 0.12 inches
    •    Single hatching with an angle of 135 degrees and a spacing of 4.7 millimeter respectively 0.19 inches
    •    Single hatching with an angle of 135 degrees and a spacing of 11 millimeter respectively 0.4 inches
    •    Cross hatching with 45/135 degree angles and a spacing of 2.3 millimeter respectively 0.09 inches
  3. In the graphics, specify an internal point in an enclosed areas of the geometry.
  4. The hatching displays is added to the drawing.

Access

Command: AM_PHatch

Menu: Draw > Hatch > various options

Ribbon: Draw > Hatch > various options
