Miscellaneous

Option Description
Symbol shapes Shape used for revision symbols.
The default shape is a triangle.
When you change shapes, the Symbol Control options become active.
Symbol control When you change the symbol shape, you must choose one of the following:
  • Continue with new symbols. The selected symbol will be used for all new revisions. Existing symbols will be used when you recreate a revision table.
  • Change all. When you recreate a revision table, the selected symbol shape will be used for all revision symbols and revision table entries.
Revision control Indicates whether revisions are shown as Numbers or Letters in revision symbols and the REV column of the revision table.
The default revision control type is Numbers.
When you switch the revision control type, Change all revisions becomes active. If you check this option, when you add revisions or revision symbols, your new selection is applied. When you recreate the revision table, existing revisions are updated to use the currently selected revision control type.
When the option is cleared, your new selection is only used for new revisions and revision symbols. If you recreate the revision table, previous revisions retain their original revision control type.
Multiple sheet style Indicates the sheet style for revision tables on multiple sheets.
  • On Sheet 1. The revision table is created on one sheet. If you create a revision table on another sheet, it references the originally created table.
  • Independent. Revision tables you create on multiple sheets are independent of each other.

Note: These options are only available when a drawing sheet is active.

If you change from On Sheet 1 to Independent in a drawing that currently has sheets that reference the original table, a prompt warns you that child tables will be deleted.
