«Section Line» Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to configure section line Identifier and label.

Identifier

Specifies an alphabetic character that identifies the section line.

Insert symbol

Lets you specify a special character from the list to be inserted at the current cursor position.

Label contents

Displays the content of the label of the section line. The label provides the following information:

  • Section identifier

To configure the label content, click Field . The Field dialog box displays, which lets you add more section line properties to the content of the label.

  • ViewSectionStartId. Includes the starting section line identifier.
  • ViewSectionEndId. Includes the ending section line identifier.
  • ViewType. Includes the type of the view in the detail view label. For example, when used in a section view label, it displays "Section".

Show identifier at all bends

When enabled, it displays the identifier at all vertices of the section line. Otherwise, the identifier appears only at the ends of the section line.

Settings

Displays the Modify Section Line Style dialog box where you can configure section line properties.

Access

Command: AM_SectionLineEdit

Menu: Mechanical Content > Details > Section Line > Edit

Ribbon: Mechanical Content > Details > Section Line > Edit
