Flipping Surface Finish Symbols

After you insert a surface finish symbol, you can rotate it 180� by using the Flip Surface Finish Symbol command.

Note: You cannot flip surface finish symbols with leaders.

  1. Insert a surface finish symbol.
  2. Click Flip Surface Finish Symbol (Mechanical toolbar) or Mechanical Annotate > Symbols > Flip Surface Finish Symbol.
  3. In the graphics area, click the symbol to flip.

    As the symbol flips, the software realigns the text so that it remains readable.

  4. Press Esc to exit the command.

Access

Command: AM_Sfinflip

Menu: Mechanical Annotate > Symbols > Flip Surface Finish Symbol

Ribbon: Mechanical Annotate > Symbols > Flip Surface Finish Symbol
