You can append entities to
a dimension bounding box by using the AppendToDimBoundingBox
command, when the entities are outside of a dimension bounding box.
Dimension bounding boxes automatically update when existing geometry changes, and
entities are added or deleted.
In the example below, existing geometry was changed and new entities that
cross the dimension bounding box were added. The dimension bounding box
automatically updates based on the new set of entities.
Dimension bounding boxes cannot include the following entities:
- Infinite lines
- Rays
- Dimensions
- Annotations
- Proxy entities
