Managing Drawing Sheet Subsets

The Drawing Sheet List tab of the Sheet Set Manager palette provides groups the functionalities for working with drawing sheet subsets.

You can organize your drawing sheets using the options provided in the context menu. The available options vary according to the item that you selected in the tree view.

Using the options provided in the context menu, you can do the following:

  • Create a subset or remove an existing one
  • Rename a subset

Use the SheetSet command to display the Sheet Set Manager palette.

To create a subset:

  1. On the Sheet Set Manager, right-click the drawing sheet set or a subset and select New Subset from the context menu.
  2. In the Subset Properties dialog box, in Subset Name, specify the name of the subset.
  3. Click OK.

    The subset appears in the Drawing Sheet List. You can drag a subset anywhere within the drawing sheet set, even under another subset.

To remove a subset:

Note: You can remove only empty subsets.

  • On the Sheet Set Manager, right-click a subset and select Remove Subset from the context menu.

To rename a subset:

  1. On the Sheet Set Manager, right-click a subset and select Rename Subset from the context menu.
  2. In the Subset Properties dialog box, in Subset Name, specify the new name of the subset
  3. Click OK.
