General Settings

You can define the configuration for the most important system values using the General Settings tab.

General

Always use default root folder

A root folder is used during the Check-In operation.

The default root folder name is specified under File Structure > Working Folder > SOLIDWORKS Electrical Project > Default Root Folder.
If the default root folder value is empty, the root of the vault is used.
Remove project from SW Electrical after check in The project is removed from the SOLIDWORKS Electrical (SWE) database after check-in to SOLIDWORKS PDM.
Selecting this option ignores the Remove local file option in the check-in dialog.

Library Synchronization

Library Folder Defines the root folder for the library synchronization. This root folder stores all manufacturer part/cable files. The definition can include the folder name or full path within a particular vault.
SWE Libraries Defines the names of the SOLIDWORKS Electrical component libraries to be used during the synchronization. You can enter a comma-separated list of library names, or click ... to open the Select Libraries dialog box and select the libraries you want to use.
SOLIDWORKS Electrical must be running to show this dialog.

Project Export Settings

One PDF per book

Defines an option to export one PDF for each project book instead of one PDF for all books.

Use export settings from SOLIDWORKS Electrical When this option is checked, the options specified in the SWE Project Export PDF UI are used when generating the PDF by check-in.

Drawing

Fmat Defines the format of the drawing files (DWG or DXF).
Version Defines the version of the drawing files (DWG or DXF files).
