You can reuse saved searches. The Favorites list contains searches you have saved and searches other vault users have saved and given you permission to see.
Do one of the following:
- To view a Favorite search from the SOLIDWORKS PDM Search tool,
enable , click and select the Favorite search.
The Search
tool opens with the Favorite you selected active.
To change Favorite searches in the Search tool, expand the Favorites
list in the left pane and choose a different Favorite.
- To view Favorite searches for files and folders using an
embedded search, expand the Open Search flyout
(SOLIDWORKS PDM menu
bar),
select Run Search Favorite on
Load and select the Favorite search.The Favorite search you select is opened in the
search
results
pane.
To change Favorite searches, expand the
Favorite Searches flyout
(SOLIDWORKS PDM menu bar) and select the
Favorite search to
use.
When
Run Search Favorite on Load
option is not selected, you can view the Search Favorite results by
selecting the Favorite Search and clicking
Start Search
.
Favorite searches for users and items are available only from the SOLIDWORKS PDM Search tool.
