Activating SolidNetWork Licenses

Before users can run SOLIDWORKS products on their individual computers, you must activate a SolidNetWork license on the SolidNetWork License Manager computer.

1. Start the SolidNetWork License Manager by clicking Start > SOLIDWORKS Tools version > SolidNetWork License Manager Serverversion.
2. Optional: If you have not yet activated the SolidNetWork license, the software asks you to activate it. Click Yes.
   This starts the SOLIDWORKS Product Activation wizard.
3. Optional: If a firewall is in place, select A firewall is in use on this server.
4. Enter the port numbers in the SolidNetWork License Server Information page and then click Next.
5. In Serial #: select specific serial numbers or click Select All to highlight and activate all your SOLIDWORKS serial numbers.
   1. Select the option to activate Automatically over the internet (recommended).
   2. Under Contact Information, enter an email address.
   The Activation/Reactivation Succeeded dialog box displays the products that have been activated.
6. Click Finish.
