You can sketch the following rectangle types:

The SOLIDWORKS application defaults to the last used
rectangle type. You can also use the rectangle tools (Sketch toolbar).
You can create squares using rectangle tools by pressing Shift when creating a shape.
To access the rectangle tools:
- Sketch tab. Click the
Rectangle CommandManager, to select
rectangle tools from the Rectangle
flyout tool.
- Menu. Click to select
the
rectangle tools.
- Rectangle PropertyManager.
Change to different rectangle tools from the Rectangle PropertyManager.
