Settings Administrator Tool

You can use the Settings Administrator Tool to specify uniform system options, ensuring a consistent user experience in SOLIDWORKS Connected. These settings automatically take effect at user login, overwriting local settings and preventing unintended user changes.

There are two steps to using the Settings Administrator Tool:
  1. Use the Settings Administrator Tool to generate a *.sldsettings file, which contains your selected SOLIDWORKS Connected options.
  2. Upload and deploy the *.sldsettings file from the 3DExperience platform using the Platform Manager app.
