Projected Curve PropertyManager

You can project curves from 2D and 3D sketches, onto faces and planes.

To open the Projected Curve PropertyManager:
  1. Click Insert > Curve > Projected.
  2. Specify the selections below and click .

Selections

Option Description
Sketch on faces Creates a curve onto a model face.
Sketch on sketch Creates a curve that represents the intersection of sketches from two intersecting planes.
Sketch to Project Selects the sketch to project onto a face (Only available for Sketch on faces option). You can use the SelectionManager to select one continuous group of sketch entities.
Direction of Projection Selects the direction of projection as an axis, linear sketch entity, linear edge, plane, or a planar face (Only available for Sketch on faces option).
Projection Faces Selects the faces of the model for projection.
Reverse projection Reverses the direction of projection.
Bi-directional Creates a projection that extends on both sides of the sketch or model.
