Creating a New Display State

To create a new display state:

  1. Click a blank area in the graphics area to make sure nothing is selected in the ConfigurationManager: CAD Family tab or the ConfigurationManager tab.
  2. In the ConfigurationManager: CAD Family tab or the ConfigurationManager tab, right-click in the Display States section and click Add Display State.
A physical product can have only one display state.
A new display state is added to the list and becomes the active display state.
The active display state appears in angle brackets after the configuration name in the ConfigurationManager: CAD Family tab and the ConfigurationManager tab, and at the top of the FeatureManager design tree.
  3. In the FeatureManager design tree, click (to the right of the tabs) to show the Display Pane, and make changes to define the new display state.
You can also create a new display state by right-clicking in the Display Pane, selecting Add Display State, entering a name for the new display state, and pressing Enter.
3DEXPERIENCE users click at the top of the FeatureManager design tree, then click the Show Display Pane tab to access the Display Pane.
