Exporting Documents as Pro/ENGINEER and Creo Parametric Files

To export a SOLIDWORKS document as a Pro/ENGINEER or Creo Parametric file:

Click File > Export As.
Set Save as type to:
- ProE/Creo Part (*.prt) for parts
- ProE/Creo Assembly (*.asm) for assemblies
Click Export.
SOLIDWORKS exports solids and surfaces only, not feature data. If you export an assembly document that is referenced by other open documents, a message appears directing you how to proceed.
