Copy to Local Work Folder

When you select save from MySession, a Copy to 3DEXPERIENCE PLM Services Local Work Folder dialog box appears with the object to be copied. This dialog box is displayed only if there is a file that is not saved and is outside local work folder. You can click Copy to save the object to local work folder.

Columns

Column Name Description
Type The type of SOLIDWORKS part.
File Name The name of the file.
Display Name The title name of the object that is added using the Rename command of SOLIDWORKS. If the display name is not added, the file name is used a display name.
Copy This is a check box to indicate copy operation.
Status The status of the file. The different statuses are:
  • Will be auto-named: This status is displayed for the files that are new in the 3DEXPERIENCE platform or copied to the local work folder locally but are not auto-named.
  • Will be copied in local work current folder: This status indicates that the file will be copied in the current folder of local work folder.
Target File Name The name of the file after it is copied on local work folder.
Current Folder The location of the file from where it is opened. The current folder column is blank when copying a new file.

Command Name Description
Export to CSV Exports the information to a CSV file.
Copy Copies the files to local work folder.
Cancel Cancels the copy operation.
Help Opens the help for the copy dialog box.
