You can use this PropertyManager to specify details to export parts or
assemblies to the STEP 242 format.
When you click to share a file to 3DDrive as the STEP242 file type, the
PropertyManager name is Publish to STEP242 on
3DDrive.
To open the Publish
to STEP242
PropertyManager:
Do one of the following:
- In a part or assembly, click Publish
STEP 242 File
(MBD toolbar).
- For 3DEXPERIENCE users. Enable the MBD
add-in. In a part or assembly, click . In the dialog box, click Share
File, under File type
select STEP AP242 (*.step;*stp), and
under Custom Properties click Edit. For more information, see Sharing Files on 3DDrive.
