Select Circuits to Draw Dialog Box

The Select circuits to draw dialog box lets you select and manage the number of circuits to include in the scheme drawing when working with dynamic connectors.

  Option Description
Filter Filters the list of circuits based on your selections.
  • All
  • Not inserted
  • Inserted
  • Selected
  • Not selected
Move up Moves the selected circuit up.
Move down Moves the selected circuit down.
Maximum number of circuits Displays the maximum number of circuits to insert and lets you specify the value.
Limit the number of circuits
  • Unlocked. Allows circuit selection with no limit.
  • Locked. Allows you to update the number of circuits, but limits circuit selection to the specified values.

    When the number of selections matches the specified value, clear the existing selection before making a new one.

  Option Description
  State Displays the circuit state.
Selection Lets you select the circuit to insert in the scheme.
  Description Displays the circuit description.
  Symbol Displays the symbol cross-reference that represents the circuit.
Terminal Displays the label of pins (terminals).
  Mnemonic Lets you enter a channel mnemonic (PLC) or customized text.
  Utilization Lets you enter a text description. This propagates to specific attribute of the connection point.
  Pin group Displays the name of a group of pins.
  Group Displays the name of a group of circuits.

The same name for multiple circuits means they are grouped.

  Max. wire number Displays a maximum number of wires that you can plug in the terminal.
  Maximum wire section Displays a maximum section of wire that you can plug in the terminal.
  Minimum wire section Displays a minimum section of wire that you can plug in the terminal.
