You can save models from SolidWorks to your 3DVIA account.
Click and log in to your existing 3DVIA account or create a new one. Then set attributes as described below and click one of the following:

Publish. Publishes the active model to 3DVIA for the first time.
- Republish. Publishes a changed model and overwrites the previous version.
- Publish New. Publishes a changed model as a new version and maintains the previous version.
After publishing a model, you can change the attributes from the 3DVIA web site.
3D model title |
Sets the title for the model on 3DVIA. |
English tags |
Sets keywords to associate with the model to facilitate searching. Use spaces to separate multiple tags. To join two words in one tag, use double quotes. |
Description |
Sets a description for the model on 3DVIA. |
Audience
Public |
Allows anyone to view the model on the 3DVIA web site. |
Private |
Allows only you to view the model on 3DVIA web site. |
Author
Available when Audience is set to Public.
I'm the author |
Indicates that you created the model, and adds your 3DVIA user name to Author name. |
Other |
Indicates that you did not create the model, but you do have the right to publish it. |
Author name |
Sets the name of the person who created the model. |
Model image quality
Higher image quality results in larger file size. To conserve disk space in your 3DVIA account, use the lowest image quality that is visually acceptable to you.
Use from model |
Uses the image quality as specified in the Image Quality section of Document Properties in SolidWorks. |
Low |
Uses lowest image quality, resulting in smallest file size. |
Medium |
Uses better image quality, resulting in larger file size. |
High |
Uses best image quality, resulting in largest file size. |
License and 3DVIA Download rights
Available when Audience is set to Public.
Specifies the rights you grant to other users for copying, modifying, and distributing your model. For more information about the available options, click More info about Creative Commons licenses.
