Render to File

 To render to file:

  1. Click Render to File (PhotoWorks toolbar).

The Field of View display appears in the graphics area so that you can assess how the model will appear in the output.

  1. Browse to the folder where you want to save the file.

  2. Type a title for File name.

  3. Select a type for Format.

  4. Under Image Size:

    1. Select Pixels, Centimeters, or Inches.

    2. Set values for Width and Height.

    3. Select  Fixed aspect ratio to retain the original proportions of the image when you change Width or Height.

    4. Select one:

      •  Use camera aspect ratio. Available when at least one camera is defined.

      • Custom aspect ratio. Select or type the new ratio. Adjust this ratio to display the model with a different field of view in the output. When you supply a new value, the graphics area provides a preview of the result.

  5. Under Image quality:

    1. Select Low, Medium, High, or Custom (use slider with Custom).

    2. Select or clear Compress using run length encoding.

    3. Select Color or Grayscale.

Image quality is not available with all file formats.

  1. Click Render.
