For drawings, sketches, parts, and assemblies, you can separately map up to eight SolidWorks commands to mouse gestures from the Mouse Gestures tab of the Customize dialog box.
To open this tab, click and select the Mouse Gestures tab.
Options
Show only commands with mouse gestures

Filters the command list to show only commands mapped to mouse gestures. |

Turns mouse gestures on or off. |
4 gestures |
With mouse gestures enabled, for each command type, enables one gesture for each direction: Up, down, left, or right. |
8 gestures |
With mouse gestures enabled, for each command type, enables one gesture for each direction: Up, down, left, right, or along one of the four diagonals. |

Filters the command list by category. |
Search for |
Filters the command list by a search string you enter. |

Lists commands. A command is mapped to a mouse gesture only if one of the eight mouse gesture icons appears in the command row under the Part, Assembly, Drawing, or Sketch column.

You can select only commands available for a category. For example, the Make Drawing from Part command is not available for assemblies.
Mouse Gesture Command Icons
With four mouse gestures, you can assign commands for four directions: Up, down, left, or right. With eight mouse gestures, you can assign commands for eight gesture directions.
