Select Loop

You can select a loop of connecting edges on a part. Hidden edges are selected in all view modes.

To select connecting entities in a sketch, use Select Chain.

To select a loop:

  1. On a part, right-click an edge and choose Select Loop.

A loop is selected on one face. A handle displays the direction of the loop.

  1. To change the loop selection to the edges of the other connecting face, click the handle.

 

When you select a face, all loops on the face are selected. You can choose one of the loops.

To select a loop on a face:

  1. Select a face.

  1. Hold Ctrl and select an edge of a loop.

The complete loop is selected.

Only the selected edge is highlighted.
