3D Sketch Dimension Types

Various dimension types are available in 3D sketches: absolute, along X, along Y, and along Z.

Absolute

Measures the absolute distance between two points. If you press Tab to dimension along an axis, keep pressing Tab until the pointer changes back to to get an absolute measurement.

Along X

Measures the distance between two points along the X axis. Press Tab once to measure along the X axis.

Along Y

Measures the distance between two points along the Y axis. Press Tab twice to measure along the Y axis.

Along Z

Measures the distance between two points along the Z axis. Press Tab three times to measure along the Z axis.
