Move-Copy-Rotate-Scale-Stretch PropertyManager

Move or Copy

Move or Copy entities by selecting from and to points or by using X and Y destination coordinates.

Entities to Move or Entities to Copy .

Keep relations

  • Maintain relations between sketch entities.

  • Clear to break relations between selected entities and those that are not selected.

2D Sketch
3D Sketch On Plane

  • From/To. Adds a Base point to set a Start point and a destination.

  • X/Y. Sets coordinates to create a destination.

3D Sketch

  • Under Translate, specifies Delta X , Delta Y , and Delta Z .

 

  • Repeat. Moves or copies the sketch entities again by the same distance.

When you copy sketch entities, the dimensions and relations are copied to the new location.

Rotate

Rotate entities by selecting a center of rotation and the number of degrees to rotate.

3D Sketch On Plane

  • Center of Rotation. Moves the pointer to set a Base point .

  • Angle . Sets a value for the Angle.

To rotate the sketch entities, drag one of the handles on the Rotate Point Defined icon.
 

3D Sketch

 

If sketch entities were selected when you clicked Rotate, these items appear:

  • Rotation Reference: Specifies a line within the selected entities around which rotation occurs.

  • Rotation Reference Angle: Specifies the angle to rotate the selected entities around the rotation reference.

If no entities were selected:

  • Rotation Reference: Specifies a line within the selected entities around which rotation occurs.

  • Rotation Origin: Specifies the rotation origin point relative to the X, Y, and Z origin.

  • Rotation Angle: Specifies the rotation angle.

When you click Rotation Reference and then select a line, Rotation Reference Angle appears and Rotation Origin and Rotation Angle disappear.

To display Rotation Origin and Rotation Angle again, right-click Rotation Reference, and then select Clear Selections.
 

Scale

Scale and make copies of entities by selecting a Base point , a Scale Factor , and optionally, the number of copies.

Parameters

  • Scale about. Sets a Base point as the point to scale about.

  • Scale Factor . For example, specify 2 for double size, 0.5 for half size, and so on.

  • Copy. Creates one or more copies of the scaled entities.

To keep the original and create scaled entities, select Copy.

  • Number of Copies .

Stretch

Stretch entities by selecting base points and dragging or by using X and Y destination coordinates.

Entities to Stretch .

 

Parameters

  • From/To. Sets a Base point for stretching.

  • X/Y. Sets destination coordinates for stretching.

Repeat. Stretches the entities again by the same distance.
