Repairing the Installation

If an error or cancellation occurs during installation, you can use Windows Control Panel to repair the installation.

You can repair an individual installation. You cannot repair an administrative image installation; you must uninstall and then reinstall the administrative image.

To repair the installation:

In Windows Vista or later, click Start > Control Panel > Programs and Features. For earlier versions of Windows, click Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs .
Select the version of SolidWorks that failed and click Change.
SolidWorks Installation Manager starts.
In the Welcome screen, click Repair the individual installation (on this computer). and click Next.
Select the products that failed to install or remove and click Repair.
