Appearances, Scenes, and Decals Tab

The Appearances, Scenes, and Decals tab on the Task Pane contains:

Appearances

Scenes

Decals

Dragging

  • When you drag an appearance, scene, or decal from the Appearances tab into the graphics area, you can apply it directly to the model.  ALT-drag to open the corresponding PropertyManager or dialog box.

Double-clicking

  • When you double-click appearance or scene on the Appearances tab, the items are attached to the active document.

  • When you double-click a decal, the Decal PropertyManager opens, but the decal is not inserted into the graphics area.

Saving

  • Custom Appearances. In the Appearances PropertyManager, Click Advanced. On the Color/Image tab, click Save appearance.

  • Scenes. In the Edit Scene PropertyManager, on the Advanced tab, click Save Scene.

  • Decals. In the Decals PropertyManager, on the Image tab, click Save Decal.
