Equations and Configurations

For parts and assemblies that have multiple configurations, you can view the global variables, dimensions, and equations that apply to a specific configuration by using the configuration drop-down list in the upper right corner of any view.

You can create global variables and equations that will be applied to some configurations but not others, for parts and assemblies that have multiple configurations. You can do this by creating the equation, then suppressing it for some configurations.
