Exporting Multisheet Drawings to the DXF or DWG Paper Space

You can export all sheets of a multisheet drawing to the file layout (paper) space and save the document as a single .dxf or .dwg file.

From a multisheet drawing:

  1. Click File > Save As.

  2. In the dialog box, for Save as type, select DXF or DWG.
  3. Click Options.
  4. In the Export Options dialog box, for Multiple sheet drawing, select Export all drawing sheets to paper space.

  5. Set other options and click OK.
  6. In the Save As dialog box, type the filename and click Save.
  7. If the SolidWorks to DXF/DWG Mapping dialog box appears, specify mapping options and click OK.
