Overview of 2D Command Line Emulator

The 2D Command Line Emulator is a SolidWorks Add-In that allows you to type commands as you would in AutoCAD.

Activating 2D Command Line Emulator

You can activate the 2D Command Line Emulator by clicking Tools, Add-Ins, and selecting SolidWorks 2D Emulator from the list of add-ins. The command line appears at the bottom of the screen when you open a document. To turn off the emulator, click Tools, Add-Ins again, and clear the SolidWorks 2D Emulator check box.

Accessing 2D Command Line Emulator Help

You can access the 2D Command Line Emulator Help by typing Help on the command line or clicking Help, 2D Command Emulator Help when the emulator is active.

Commands

The SolidWorks software supports the following AutoCAD commands. Commands beginning with an apostrophe (') can be used as Transparent Commands.
