GetText Method (IDisplayDimension)

Gets the text in a display dimension.

Return Value

Text string



A display dimension is made up of several individual pieces of text, as shown in the dimension properties dialog box:

  • Callout text above

  • Prefix text

  • Suffix text

  • Callout text below

To retrieve a text portion or its format definition, populate WhichText with the corresponding option from swDimensionTextParts_e.

swDimensionTextParts_e.swDimensionTextAll is not a valid value for the WhichText parameter of this method.
