CircuitWorks Changes Tree - Symbols and Labels

When you open ProStep EDMD files that contain proposed changes, the changes appear in the Changes tree located below the standard CircuitWorks tree view.

The Changes tree shows the baseline and any incremental file changes. The Changes tree symbols indicate proposed or reviewed changes.

Baseline and Proposed Changes

The baseline file is the original ProStep EDMD file.

A change file includes changes such as moved components, additions and deletions of holes, keep-out areas, keep-in areas, and components. The change symbol is superimposed on an entity icon in the tree, and indicates a proposed move, addition, or deletion of an entity.

Baseline When selected, displays the preview of the original ProStep EDMD file.
Change_n When selected, displays the preview of the nth proposed or reviewed incremental design change. For example Change_1 displays the first change proposed to the ProStep EDMD file.
Change status Describes the status of the change processing in CircuitWorks:
