Annotation Leaders

You can select leaders to attach to annotations. Not all leaders apply to each annotation. You can also change the attachment point of most annotations.

To change the attachment point of an annotation:

  1. Select the annotation.
  2. Drag the leader's endpoint to a different attachment point.

Type

PM_note_leader.gif Leader    
PM_multi_jog_leader.gif Multi-jog Leader Inserts a leader with as many bends as required. multi_jog.gif
PM_note_NoLeader.gif No Leader Inserts a leader with as many bends as required. leader_no_leader.gif
PM_note_AutoLeader.gif Auto Leader Removes the leader.  

Location

PM_note_LeaderLeft.gif Leader Left Forces the leader to run from the left side. leader_left.gif
PM_note_LeaderRight.gif Leader Right Forces the leader to run from the right side. leader_bent.gif
PM_note_LeaderNearest.gif Leader Nearest Inserts a leader on the left or right, whichever is closest to its attachment point.  

Style

PM_note_Straight_Leader.gif Straight Leader Inserts a leader with no bend in it. leader_left.gif
PM_note_bent_leader.gif Bent Leader Inserts a horizontal bend in the leader. leader_bent.gif
PM_note_leader_underline.gif Underlined Leader Underlines the text in a note. This is available for notes only. leader_underlined.gif
