Task List Dialog Box

Use the Task List dialog box to view task status, launch a task manually, and view the details of completed tasks. You can also suspend and resume tasks.

To open this dialog box:

Expand the Tasks node and double-click Tasks.

Pending Tasks Tasks that are scheduled or running.

Task status is indicated by:

Waiting for Host Task is waiting for host to be available.
In process Task is executing.
Suspending

Suspended by

Resuming

Task is being suspended, has been suspended, or is resuming.
Completed Tasks Task status is indicated by:
OK Task completed successfully.
Failed Task failed.
Cancelled by Task was cancelled by the user.
Add Task Displays the Add Task dialog box, from which you select a task for immediate execution.
Cancel Cancels a running task.
Suspend Suspends a running task.
Resume Resumes a suspended task.
Details Displays the Task Details dialog box for a selected task.
Restart Restarts a failed task.
Options Displays the Task List Options dialog box, which lets you specify the number of task records to display in the Completed Tasks list.
