Creating and Distributing Vaults

To add a file to a vault, place it in a local vault view, a working folder where all intermediate file modifications are performed.

You can access files and information stored in a vault only from a system where the Enterprise PDM client is installed. Log in as a user with sufficient access rights.

File Vault Properties Dialog Box

Use the File Vault Properties dialog box to view vault details, change the date format, and block or permit logins. Most of the information in the dialog box is stored in the registry.
Add Server Dialog Box

Use this dialog box to add a server that hosts vault archives.
