You can specify event-triggered motion control using any combination of sensors, events, or a time schedule.
To set up event-based Motion Analysis:
- From a motion study, select Motion Analysis.
-
Plan out the tasks required to model the event-triggered motion.
The main components of tasks are time or event-based triggers that define the start of a motion task, and control actions that are implemented as a result of the task trigger.
Task triggers include:
- Sensors with an Alert condition
- Time events
- Previous tasks
Task control actions include:
- Applying or changing motors or forces
- Toggling mates
- Stopping the motion
- Create the sensors necessary for triggering motion actions.
- Set up the constant speed motors or constant forces necessary to define event-triggered actions.
- Click Event-based Motion View .
- Create a sequence of tasks.
- Calculate the motion to test the model.
