Filtering Manually

You can filter features from the ECAD data manually from the tree view.

To filter manually:

  1. From the tree view, navigate to and select what you want to filter.

    You can filter individual features or feature groups. For example, you can filter all components, all instances of a given component, or a specific component instance depending on which tree node you select.

    CircuitWorks highlights the selected items in the preview image.

  2. Right-click the node and select Filter Out.

    CircuitWorks grays out the items in the tree view and the preview image.

    You can eliminate filtered-out items from the preview image by clicking Filtered Items (Preview toolbar).

  3. To filter the features back in, right-click the node and select Filter In.
