Preparing the Model for Analysis

To prepare the model for analysis:

  1. Make transparent the model geometry that encloses the cavity so you can see the flow trajectories when you view results. Turn off RealView graphics to adjust the transparency.
  2. Make sure you have only one inlet and only one outlet.
  3. Enclose the inlet and outlet openings with lids, which must be solid features, such as extrudes.

Example: Lid

The model cavity must not have any openings. The inlet and outlet openings must be covered with lids.

Lids must consist of a solid feature, such as an extrude. Surfaces are not valid as lids. The lid diameter should match the diameter of the opening.
