Creating Intersection Split Lines

To create an intersection split line:

  1. Click Split Line tool_Split_Line_Curves.gif (Curves toolbar) or Insert > Curve > Split Line.
  2. In the PropertyManager, under Type of Split, select Intersection.
  3. Under Selections:
    1. Select splitting tools (intersecting solids, surfaces, faces, planes, or surface splines) for Splitting Bodies/Faces/Planes PM_face.gif.
    2. Click in Faces/Bodies to Split PM_face.gif, and select the target faces or bodies on which to project the splitting tool.
  4. Select Surface Split Options:

    split_line_all.gif split_line_natural.gif split_line_linear.gif
    Split all Natural Linear

  5. Click PM_OK.gif.
