Workgroup PDM Client Access

Workgroup PDM clients use Microsoft Windows login access control, have Web access through the Workgroup PDM Viewer, and are updated automatically whenever the Workgroup PDM Vault has been updated.

To log in as a Workgroup PDM client:

Client user names and passwords are not the same in Workgroup PDM as for Microsoft Windows login. Contact your system administrator for login information.

To connect to the Workgroup PDM Viewer:

Contact your system administrator for the URL to connect to the Viewer.

To update the Workgroup PDM clients:

The Workgroup PDM clients (SOLIDWORKS add-in and Contributor) detect when the Vault has been updated. You do not need to download a service pack to update clients.
